NON-LICENSED Administrative Professional/Technical Positions


APPLICATION for Directors, Coordinators, etc. that DO NOT require a Colorado Department of Education License.

NEW applicants, our online application will take you through four steps.

Step 1 - Create login name and password
Step 2 - Complete information
  • Only first name, last name and social security number are required to proceed. This is a secure site. All data transmissions are encrypted. Your information cannot be viewed or captured.
  • If you enter your e-mail address you can receive immediate notifications.
  • It is not necessary to complete all items at one sitting. If you need more information or run out of time, you can return later to enter the remaining items.
  • You can check online to see which items need completion at any time.
  • You may upload your resume, letter of intent and a digital copy of your license (if required).
  • There are many optional items. The more information you can give us, the easier it will be to find you appropriate job postings for possible interviews.
  • There are six sections: General Information, Education, Work Experience, Legal, Releases, and Upload.
  • Please leave blank any sections that do not apply.
Step 3 - Authorization

Once you have provided all of the items necessary for a complete application, human resources will examine your application and authorize you to apply for specific postings for which you are eligible or contact you for more information.

You can check online to see the status of your application at any time.

  • To be considered for a position, you must:
  • Complete the online application.
  • Provide us with a resume and copy of your license.
    • APS requires that certain information be included on your resume. Please click here to access resume guidelines.
    • To ensure speedier processing and employment consideration, please upload your resume and a digital copy of your license during the applicaton process. You may also FAX the documents to 303-326-1290 or bring or mail them to the Classified Employment Office, 1085 Peoria Street, Aurora, CO 80011.
    • Please note: If you currently hold a Substitute authorization only, you are NOT eligible to be an applicant for a contract position. 
  • Those seeking non-licensed administrative/professional technical jobs will be informed if they are authoized.
    • Once authorized, they can apply for specific current postings for which they are eligible.
    • After applying for a specific posting, they may be contacted for an interview at the work site.
  • If the administration wishes to hire you, Human Resources will contact you to discuss the position, salary, benefits, etc.
You're Hired!
If you accept an offer made to you, it is time to visit the Licensed Employment Office, located in the ESC - Building 1085 Peoria Street, Aurora, CO, to fill out the required paperwork before you can begin employment. Paperwork includes a W-4 Form, an I-9 Form, PERA enrollment form, and other benefits information. You will receive written notification of the next steps for our employment and how to complete them in 1-2 weeks after you verbally accept an offer of employment. If you wish to complete the process prior to receiving the written notification, please contact the Licensed Employment Office at 303-344-8060, ext. 28033 for instructions or stop in and collect the necessary paperwork. PLEASE NOTE: HIRING IS CONTINGENT ON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A BACKGROUND CHECK.
